Advertising banners on Lateral-g
 

As I'm sure you guys have noticed, I've added a banner area to the forum. It's something that I've been resisting for a while now, but the costs of running and maintaining Lateral-g - the recent addition of vBulletin (and the lifetime liscense), additional bandwidth and domain names - are becoming significant.

On the flip side, I feel that by having a few sponsors, it makes the website more legitimate - taking the next step.

I'm not looking to make money from the site, I've never had those intentions. The money generated by the sponsor banners will be used to grow the site and add new features. There are a lot of things that I want to incorporate into the site, and this is the first step.

I've resorted to doing that too on my site. Its the natural progression of a website that is popular ;)
