Vinz68 camaro

figured i would bring the thread over here, heres the latest progress, got nose torn off today, as well as susp and brakes, will be sandblasting subframe and painting in the days to come, also just cleaning up firewall some and putting fresh paint on it. its great working on an original arizona car, everything comes off!!once sub and firewall is refinished we will be repainting the body in a more modern blue.

Nice thing about this project is that its being built in stages. Bought a nice stocker. Drove it for a while (boring). Upgraded the chassis with Air Ride, Moser, Wilwood, ATS, Forgeline and BFG, drove it for a while (what a difference!). Now it's getting paint and engine/trans. It will be driven for a while before getting an interior.

Are you going to smooth the firewall as well? He should have you make him some of those custom Tri-Y headers for that Big Block. Otherwise have fun with the 2" primary headers hanging under the car. If he wants a testament on how annoying that is feel free to contact me :( some custom Tri-Y's would be $$$ but I think it would be worth it for the customer to have you build him some. When the project is done He'll probably be much happpier. I'd gladly spend $2K for someone to build me a custom set. In the long run it would be so much better not worrying about bottoming your headers out on every bump. Plus it would give you a chance to show off those awesome fabricating skills. Not sure if anyone's ready for that though  you might hurt their feelings when they see a real roll of dimes
