67 Mustang TT
Finally took some time to get decent pics of this project.
It was finished a couple of years ago so some of the details escape me. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...Profile_lr.jpg Motor is a 429 with twin hair dryers made of different gauge solder. It theoretically runs into a "cooler" mounted in the glove box area. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...SC_6270_lr.jpg I made the cage out of brass tubing. Seats are from an old SVO kit. Hood scoop is from a Boss 9 kit. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...SC_6275_lr.jpg Tires came from a diecast Viper that my kid had destroyed. Wheels were some Japanese bran and they fit perfectly in them. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...SC_6280_lr.jpg I have some "in progress" shots somewhere. (If I can find them, I'll post'em up) Paint was HOK but I can't recall the exact color at the moment. Hope y'all like it. It's about the closest I'll ever get to one! |
Looks great!!!

...and thanks. |
Here are some of the "in progress" pics I mentioned earlier.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...dels/Motor.jpg Cage was bent and extended through the floor. That way I could get a tight fit against the roof and then cutoff the excess. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...odels/Cage.jpg Interior: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...s/Interior.jpg Flame masking: A lil reverse masking... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1.../FlameMask.jpg |
It looks ok, I guess
Just kidding. That looks freeking awesome :wow: I wish I could photograph it for you. |
Dayummmm! Very nice. I love seeing you guys post up work like this. One of these days I'll get off my butt and get to work on some of my projects.
