New guy from Minnesota
Scott, the owner of this site, invited me to join up here. I must say, i like it so-far. I live in Dexter, MN (pop 335) which is about half-way between Rochester and Austin. I work in Rochester as a Mechanical Drafter, doing HVAC design. I'm 22 years old, engaged to a woman named Jenna, and have way too many projects.
http://www.chevelles.com/showroom/De...S/69Malibu.jpg '69 Malibu - was a father/son project while I was in high-school, working in my Dad's body-shop. It currently has a very mild 400sbc, TH350, and 3.08 10-bolt posi, 4-wheel 11" discs. I have a new chassis I'm building, which includes a '95 LT1/4L60. Front suspension will have height adjusters, adjustable shocks, adjustable upper control arms, tall ball-joints with 13" vette discs on drum-spindles. Rear will have spherical bearings at all 8 ends. I'm thinking 17x8 and 17x9.5 AR "Hopster's" http://www.chevelles.com/showroom/De...erek69SS-2.jpg '69 Chevelle SS396 - true SS, NOM, no documentation. Currently in pieces with a rect. port 427 on the stand. I'm thinking Yenko Clone. http://www.chevelles.com/showroom/95CAPRICE.JPG '95 Caprice Wagon - all the convenience of an SUV, the comfort of your living room couch, and the power and gas-mileage of an LT1  ...and I refuse to be seen in a mini-van continued... |

'64 Chevelle 2-door wagon - I think I've got it sold, to finance my suspension and drivetrain on the '69 Malibu, but if that guy backs out, theres 3 other guys that gave me the "if you ever want to sell it" speech. Its got a tube-chassis, art-morrison 4-link, narrowed 9" (with discs), adjustable front suspension, and a 12-point cage. http://www.chevelles.com/showroom/De...SnowMobile.jpg '23 Model T - shown with vintage "Snow Bird" kit installed. The kit belongs to my Dad, and he's currently putting together a '26 T coupe to keep it a "permanent" snowmobile. The car is a '23 T roadster. I've since added a top (was missing) and a wooden pickup box to replace the trunk. My intention with this is to start hot-rodding it with vintage speed-parts. Top speed is currently 40... I need to work on that BTW, I'm also the President of the Northstar Chevelle Club |
Welcome aboard, Derek. :) Looks like you need a few more projects. :D
BTW, where do you work? |
TSP Architects & Engineers
on the East frontage road off HWY 52 a couple blocks south of Godfather's Pizza. |
Cool, I know right where you're at. I work at Mayo. lol

Which building? We're always doing some Mayo remodel projects. BTW, I also have a '70 El Camino project that I don't have pics posted, but I'm trying to sell that one too. I can't keep my lawn mowed, much less maintain and make progress on all these cars :D |
Welcome Derek! I'm really diggin' that '23 T. A big bore 2 stroke triple would fit nicely......... :D

Welcome Derek. Sorry to see the 2-door wagon go. I really dig those. But then again 69 malibu's and LT1 wagon/couches are high on my list too. Nice collection.

Hey Derek, nice cars! I work over at Mayo too. I thought I had the small town thing going (pop 710), but it looks like you have me beat!
Now Im kinda ashamed that I can't even complete one project, when I see how many that you are juggling. |
