Hey guys,

My friend kept telling me about this website, and I finally checked it out tonight. Well, I can tell that I'm gonna be visiting quite often. :)

I have a 1971 Cuda, 440 with Indy EZ 295 heads, 727 auto trans, AlterKtion front end with QA-1 coilovers and 1.125" anti-sway bar, Wilwood 12.19" disks all the way around, stock rear leafs with 8.75" rear and 3.91 gears, and Wheel Vintiques billet rallye wheels with Nitto tires. I've had my Cuda for almost 20 years and it is finally getting some good money spent on it. :woot:

See ya around!

Welcome to the site, Jason!! This site can get addicting, so brace yourself. Some good people & a ton of info gets swapped around.

Looks like were neighbors - sort of, I'm in Rocklin.

Thanks guys for the welcome!

Rhaps, I recognize your avatar. The Cuda definitely handles better than stock, but I still have to dial it in a bit more (front spring rates, rear suspension, etc).

Thanks jy211. Sweet cars in your signature!

Hey Ricochet, I just went to the Jasper's car show in Rocklin last evening. Were you there?

looks great whats the 4 braided lines go to the left inter fender. are you gonna run a full exhaust or just mount some tips in the holes to make it look like it.

Thanks guys! I'm glad to see such a local presence on this site.

andrewmp6, those braided lines are for my fuel system. I have two feed pumps in parallel and one return line. I have been using two old Holley blue pumps for about 15 years now, and they've been chugging along comfortably, no doubt because of the return-style regulator. I used to have nitrous with one fuel pump for carb and one for solenoid, but I took the nitrous off and just combined the two feeds into one. I have a new Weldon DB2015 fuel pump going in, as soon as my stroker (540?) short block gets together.

For the exhaust, I definitely want to run it all the way out the back, through factory-style tips. That is another project to do after the short block goes in. I'm going to have Mark at Performance Welding make up a custom set of stainless 2" primary headers and a full 3" stainless exhaust run to the tips. My current exhaust is 15 year old rusty crap which really needs to be retired....:willy: :)

Thanks again, and I'll see you on the forum.
