where to find this modification
im looking for the aircleaner box that mounts under air cleaner base and is used for cowl induction camaro hoods
has foam around the circumference and is rectangular. (provides cooler air for the carb) some call it a air pan Moroso makes them but too small they look like this http://webpages.charter.net/harrycoon/mor-97070_w.jpg |

This probably wont be any help,but I found this link for a fiberglass "air box" from unlimited products.part #CA-141 or #CA-142 I know there not aluminum..but could be a nice base for making a nice fitting aluminum one..or a lightweight one with there version.Just a thought. If you are going to use the cake pan you may want to check my website. There are some tips that may make your job easier.
I find the easiest tool to use to determine the necessary height of the pan walls is a telescopic emphasis pointer like that used in classrooms and presentations. |
