I had a customers car that the bee's took a like'n to last week
|
So I'm confused. What is it that would draw bees to such random spots? Are they actually building a hive or just congregating there for some reason? That would seriously suck if that were my car.

The day this happened the bee hive fell out of the tree and onto the car. needless to say I did'nt use fire or a tow hitch to get them off. I drove down the freeway at 80 mph. worked pretty good :willy: |

It's called a swarm. While it was because a hive was damaged in this case, it usually happens when the hive gets too crowded. A new queen is "made" and she takes 1/2 of the bees with her and goes off in search of a new place to build a nest. When swarming, most bee species are pretty harmless, and will only sting if you really provoke them. Shiny Side Up! Bill |
honda boys have too much time on there hands. can of hair spray and a lighter makes a nice blow torch.
