BTW, by the time the Camaro comes out it will already be outdated. I'm already bored with the looks of it after seeing it nonstop for like 3 years now. :rolleyes:

Hmm looks like a BMW E36 M3 and a GTO got together and had a kid haha. Good thing its just a drivetrain test mule. Wonder which engine it has?

I have always liked Holden bodies over the crap they try and sell here.

Hey if that's what you like, than buy German and Japanese cars. Here at GM we build American cars. If you don't like them, then go see your friends Bernd and Myungtaek down the street. The day we start listening to Japan tell us how are cars should look will truly be the day we close our doors.

......and I'll gladly bring the lock and chain to the party.

I personally like the Holden Commordores and the variations of it. In fact the Pontiac G8 is one of the main cars I am keeping track of for when I am ready for a new car. G8, 5th Gen Camaro, a used 05-06 GTO, or a used 06 CTS-V, that is pretty much my list.

Well said Tony. I think alot of people are brainwashed as to what "looks" good. What looks good is usually tainted by what everyone else likes.

This was said by someone here (Trush maybe) and it made a heck of a lot of sense to me.

The US media hates all things US, seems to me. 70% of the housing "Crisis" is being perpetuated by the media. The remaining 30% are and have been in place in any market. GM has made some mistakes, but I will tell you this, I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 extended cab truck. I have put 105K miles on it without so much as a tune up. I pulled the plugs and they are clean as a firetruck. I was going to install new ones but decided to leave them on the shelf. GM is doing a lot right. It has a 500 plus horse car (Z06 vette) that will run rings around the global competition with the A/C running and still get 23 MPG and do 11 second quarter miles. I have seen many debates about dropping 75-100K on a PT car or buying a Z06. If I had a do-over....

Yes and it will be damn hard to build a PT car that will outperform a Z06. Even the guys at TopGear salutes the Z06.
