anybody on here do stainless repair work to mouldings?
How does the after market stuff fit?

I've heard from a couple of people that the reproductions are not very good as the material is to thin and they bend and crease when installing.

i do stainless/alum trim straightening/polishing, its about 100 times more expensive than buying repro parts.

whats wrong with the ones you have now alot of the dents you can beat out and polish it.yeah most aftermarket parts dont fit.

most o them are ok, but the very top piece I think is to far gone to straighten.

This shop is one of the best at restoring to show quality from what I've heard. Pretty pricey though.
