Need 1" More Drop, Hack Hotchkis Springs or Buy QA1's???
My front suspension set up is Hotchkis 2" Drop Springs, Hotchkis Tuned Bilstein Shocks, & Speedtech Upper & Lower Tubular A Arms. The car sits a bit higher than I like. I can do a quick fix by hacking a coil of the Hotchkis Springs, or do it the right way and get the QA1 adjustable coil overs. The car won't see much if any track time. What would you guys do?

I guess I'll resort back to my favorite saying... "If you have to ask the question, you already know the answer".
Do it right the first time and buy the coil-overs. I went the same exact route you are going trying to gain a little by cutting coils, then not even 3 months later bought the coil overs anyway. Same yourself some time and work, coil-overs!! |

Not sure how much mine settled as they have been adjusted a few times. The adjuster ring is about ~4 threads from the bottom now.
I was saying in my prev post that the Hotchkis springs Jay is using should settle some over time. |

To lower the back more I was gonna go with a 1" block, I've got Hotckhkis multi leafs & Bilsteins also. When I switch to QA1's up front should I change out the rear too? |
