Wheel well undercoating

Does anyone have any ideas on how to remove undercoating from the rear inner wheel wells? I have tried oven cleaner which seemed to work on other areas with a thinner coating but the coating in the inner wheel wells is very thick.

Heat gun and scraper is the easiest way if your not stripping the car.

it depends on whats on there.. i have done all : heat/scraper.. wirewheel on anglegrinder (big mess) and paintstripper.. and if the stripper works on what ever is on there its the best, quickest and most toxic way to go...:D

Not saving paint: Heat gun and metal scraper - then stripper, steel wool and thinner to bare metal.

Saving paint: Heat gun (careful) and plastic scraper/paddle
