Seats Going To Upholstery Shop, Here Is My Plan
So I'm getting the 4th Gen Front Seats & 1st Gen Back Seat redone this coming week. I'm torn between a few choices:
1. Black Leather, Black Perforated Center Insert, Red Stitching 2. Black Leather, Red Center Insert, Red Stitching 3. Black Leather, Black Perf Suede Center Insert, Red Stitching I still have to look at the suede swatches, cause I definately don't want the black suede if it looks gray. What ever choice I make for the seats, will eventually get carried over on the door panels. I could also get something embroidered on the headrest, like "SS" in... 1. Red solid stitching 2. Red outline and black body 3. White outline and black body 4. White outline and red body Here's an example http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/vinyl...nterior010.jpg If I chose to do the embroidery, it'd be the 4th Gen SS logo since that's all they offer. I had a guy make up some SS vinyl decals (I borrowed the above pic from his website) that I can put on temporarily, and get the embroidery later if I like the look. |
i have a new truck that has grey seats with red sticthing and i love the look..red insert would not be my choice ..as far as the ss logo if you never plan to change them up and sell them its cool ..but if you do itd be hard to sell except to a ss owner..hope that helps some..

I also saw the 97 back seat pattern, and think the back rest cover from the 97 would fit on the 67. It's just the issue of the bottom cushion, no way would the 97 bottom seat cushion fit without heavy modification. Cause it's a basket type cushion vs. bench type. Does anyone know the demensions of a 67 back seat vs. 97? That would help big time! |
