I was in the same boat for our Wagon project.
Lucky I was at a local swap meet and found a complete take off from the firewall forward. Somebody better start making these 65 parts soon.
I'll keep an eye out for you.

original parts group makes fenders are they any good?

If I remember correctly, they (all) said they wouldn't be available untill late fall early winter. But that was 2 months ago.
I may be wrong.
I do know the grille was a REALLY long time.
Not only are 65 parts hard to find, but wagon parts are IMPOSSIBLE :lol:

Another really good source is Sloans 64-72 in southern california. He has been able to find everything chevelle/el camino wise for us in the past on our 70's and my 67. Only deals with factory parts.
