New Product, Widen mini tub front wheel wells

We made some mini tubed front wheel wells for Project EmptyNest to help clear the super lowered suspension and 295 30 19 tires up front. They turned out so awesome we made a permanent mold for them. We made them 3" wider for added inner tire clearance, smoothed the factory dips and stamp lines, and made them actually FIT the fender at the top of the wheel well, and made them taller at the outer fender union as seen from underneath for added outer tire clearance.

They are made out of hand laid fiberglass using vinylester resign. They are stronger then the steel units and only weight 5lbs!, about 1/3 the weight of the factory units. They are trully 90 % paint ready out of the mold. I do not mean fiberglass industry paint ready meaning 40 hours of work, I mean damn near perfect. There is some minor trimming to fit at the frame and wheel house areas to be sure they can fit multiple different frames. The trimming is intentional. We are using them with SpeedTechs new subframe here, but they should fit original stock subframe and other aftermarket frames to.

They are introductory priced at $450 a set, they are in stock for 69 cars now. We are taking orders now. We will have 67 / 68 ready in a month or so if the response to these is good.

If you look close you can see the subtle widening, yet they still look stock

Smoothed factory seems makes for a nice showey look

We eliminated the lip at the upper fender opening. You can see the wheel well is basically horizontal from the inner fender edge adding a few extra inches of potential drop, or rub free driving. The wheel well fits the inner fender to protect from stone and debrie

It depends how these do. R and D / Mold cost is crazy so these need to be sucsessful or I spent a fortune on one set.

Crap, I missed them by a couple of months. Definitely something I would have been interested in.

They look great, Frank. I bet they will be very popular.
