the redfire 69 camaro
1 Attachment(s)
Hi guys,
I just joined today, but I've gotten alot of inspiration from your rides for my current project: a 69 camaro resurrection. I've started with a rusted out shell and I'm currently back-halfing the car with new floors, framerails, quarters, tailpan, etc. So far the only thing I've decided on is the color: Red Fire Pearl Metallic, hence the name. I'll post more and submit pics for a members car page soon, until then check out my last project - an 80 Trans Am (more of a restomod than a g-machine). Cheers!!:lateral: |
Welcome!! Sounds like a lot of work, but my hats off to you for saving another one!!

Thanks! This will be a longer term build, but nothing time, a welder, and a tetanus shot won't fix!!
BTW, my wife's two rules to working on the camaro: "#1 - don't get hurt, #2 - don't set the house on fire!" |
Sounds like a good woman! Very reasonable terms!! ;)

Welcome, post some pics!

Welcome aboard.

Here are some of the latest pics. I'm still fitting the backend and dealing with wheelwell to quarter alignment, as well as deck lid gap issues (wider on one side). After that, its on to the full floor and roof panel. A previous owner replaced the floor in sections, but I will probably go with the one-piece for a cleaner job....
Have fun - Ron |
