Need pics of SEMA or show signs.. gotta make one..

I need to make a sign for the show and I need some ideas. Mainly a sign to give credit to the paint shop, interior guy and that sort of deal. Would also list key vendors that helped with parts and special thanks to buddies that help spin wrenches with me.

Would also have basic specs.

Anyone have any pictures of some from previous SEMA events.. or from other events. I want it to be nice so as not to trash up Wilwood's booth.

Help a brotha out..

I might be wrong but it seems like a few years back that there was some kind of limits or "cookie cutter" type sign that people had to use when your car was displayed at SEMA. I don't actually remember looking last year, but I had a friend with a car there and was told they wanted nobody competing with crazy signs. Also see this link and scroll down down to the text below sign. Scott talks about it in his little blog. http://www.project33.com/article.cfm?ID=760

I just want something simple.. a little deal.

Art Morrison had one by thier car, I can't find the picture of it. It was tastefull and not overboard.

I hate covering all the glass on the car.

I posted this Somwhere else, but also thought I would add. I really hate the way a sign blocks the car, or part of the car.

The problem with a sign is it always ends up tripping someone, hurting someone, or worse getting jammed into the paint somehow and screwing up the car. So I always find a way to do it on the car some how. It has been a few years ago now and I still get sponsors and potential sponsors that rave about the air cleaner lid for Michael's Project Prodigy. I really think it helped us land future deals with companies that did not get in the first time. We have also found other ways to get it on the car, last year we did inside trunk lid. This year I have All Pontiac and Butler Performance which supplied the engine on the valve cover, the engine guys on the engine, and the other sponsors on a custom closeout panel. And so it does not look to much like a clown car, we did all the logos in the same color, which looks a lot nicer on the car, and also does not make one logo JUMP more then a another. Kind of like uniforms in school? The piece is always there, never gets tripped over, does not hurt anyone, and most important does not hurt the car! We always use it but if you did not want to have it permanent you could do a drop in piece somewhere.

Yea, while his main sign is a bit bigger than I want I really like how he did the "Thank You" signs under the rocker panel. I can't find a close up of them though.

Frank, I get what you're saying but my car just doesn't lend itself to being done like that. I was thinking of a sign inside the car, on the seat, but I'm a photographer and I hate to clutter up photos. The sign would be made of a lightweight material so if it bumps the car it won't hurt. And it wont be that big. Name of car, Popular Hot Rodding, and the big players, especially paint, interior, suspension and brakes.

Hey Steve if you have last years SEMA pictures of Ring Bro's car, they had some signage about the car if I recall. Make postcards with the car info and car picture and hand out is best IMO. Then people can take with them and read the specs.
