Well, I asked a guy about his item on craigslist-

"Is this the 450Hp or 502/502 version?"

I figured this was a reasonable question. I'm pretty sure 8.75:1 compression is for the 450HP model. I received a reasonable answer.

"502/502"

This is where it gets funny. I asked the guy a couple other questions.

"Is it still under warranty? What is included with the motor?"

I figured both questions are important. Here is the reply that I received......

"WTF read the ****ing add pal
what is this the supidilty of general public? are you just lookig for convo?

Bwahaha, I found this very amusing. The best part is I am not window shopping, I was strongly considering this purchase. My favorite part is "supidilty." I think someone needs a hug. Oh well, made for a good laugh.

You should email him back and say,

What are you Blind or something?

Why would you pull the roller cam out for a hydraulic flat tappet?

An even better question is why would he post the dyno output chart that shows 450hp and state 502/502hp...then chastize you for pointing it out...I would tell him to look again at the information he posted and the text he wrote.....

I can't see anywhere where he states it has aluminum heads. Does it even have them ? He might just be dolling up a 502 truck engine.

Appreciate the offer but I wouldn't want you to waste your time on such a turd. As much as I wanted to buy the 502 I'm glad that I didn't have the misfortune of meeting or speaking to him. I'm sure it would've been a waste of time.
