New Member Green as Green can Be

I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Stanley and I live in NJ grew up in Brooklyn NY.

I run an import car club (one of the good ones) our guys race, keep it off the street and build our cars ourselves. Motorswaps, suspension and interior builds.

90% of our cars are RWD the other 10% being AWD (rwd biased subarus) and a couple FWD cars.

www.importfanatix.com is the site I own and run. The guys on there are a good bunch. I also make stickers and signs on the side www.thevinylshoppe.com.

I drifted for a while and had a good damn time. I currently have a 1993 Nissan 240sx RWD, 4 cylinder 2.4 liter putting out a ground stomping 125whp. It's build is pretty much done as it is only bolt ons for now to keep the budget controlled.

I'm swapping out brakes from a twin turbo 300zx (4 piston front and 2 piston rear), fully adjustable rear arms for toe and camber, coilover shocks with adjustable camber plates front, adjustable tierods to reduce bumpsteer, poly bushings in all spots, adjustable swaybars front and rear with heim jointed arms and some interior work.

The 240sx will be the car I drive with my wife when the other builds get me pissed and I need some time to blow off some steam.

I have some pictures of my pops, my mother and me posing on the hood of his firebird. I am now following in his steps and want a musclecar to share with my kids. My mother has a picture of my father holding me in his 67 Nova and funny enough I love that body.

I really really like the green nova from the member's page https://lateral-g.net/members/watson/. Love the color and the stance.

Our goal (wife and I) is to have a car with some power and handling. We like the 240 but it doesn't compair to what is built here.

Also if anyone in the Central NJ area needs some welding or an assistant to turn wrenches I would love to help.

I will be lurking for a while and will post questions here and there :D

Cool stuff StanBo. Enjoy the site. There are a lot of knowledgeable people here and musclecars of all types are represented. Your pit crew looks ready to take over in a few years...

Right now I am just looking up the sweet novas on here and making excel based builds. I am a realist and like to keep track of the money and hard work it took to make the car happen.

Your car is sweet. I am digging the ghost flames in the stripes and the green paint. She must stand out great at night.

I have to wait a bit to get my shell. I hope to snag something up around tax return time :D

SOLD!

I built an 240sx and spent close to 20k on it and didn't give me the gratification a muscle car would.

I really want to take this on and do all of the work myself. By hook or by crook.

Right now I am just reading all of these Nova threads soaking this all in. Right now I have read alot on the suggested front ends and what parts fit where. I have a lot to learn but this is really fun.
