my 79 malibu
 
im not sure what i should do i bought a 79 malibu two weeks ago its all original it has a v6 in i wanna leave the same motor in it but not sure what i should do??

A gen I sbc swap would be the easiest and cheapest by far.

i would swap in an ls1... oh wait, that is what im allready doing in my 79 bu!.. you can find a good ls1/a4 for about 2 grand, add some ported 5.3 heads and a tsp, ms3 cam allong with some LT headers and a good tune amd you are producing 450 rwhp...

that kind of power from a buick turbo 6 costs more money and weighs more...

and as far as puting a bigger motor what else would i need to change out wit the motor?
