Separated from my children and hating it!!
Hey everyone,
I have been on and off the site for about a year and finally decided to join. As my name describes, I am in love with the ladies of 65. I have a 65 lemans hard top, I have the 98 LSI installed, Camaro A/C, Aluminum radiator and six speed. I had the body to bare metal and then....I accepted a new job 95 miles from my garage. It's been three months since I have work on her and your site is the only thing keeping me sane. I plan on AFX tall spindles and GW or C&C arms with coilovers, and 4 wheel discs. I can't cut the frame or body because she is rust free, my first car(1983) and the love of my life. #2 is a 65 Lemans 4-door from a barn. I added GW uppers and a simple disc brake conversion. Nothing special yet, but we went on a 2000 mile trip last summer and only burned oil. What a blast. #3 is a 65 post car, the roof is shot but the body is solid. Parts car for $500 from E-bay. This one will get a full frame, cage 6.0 l and corvette suspension. Building it to drive the stink out of. I hope to ask design questions for C5 or C6 suspension mounting points once I start designing. I am reading the handling bibles and learning. Hope to get back to the garage for a few days at Christmas!! Let me hear from all the 64-67 A-body guys. 65Lemans |
