New to the forum - Kinda 69 Z28

I've lurked for a long time but have been encouraged multiple times to post here so here goes.

I live in Los Angeles, 28 years old and am an absolute nutcase about cars.

I currently have two classics in my stable, one that fits in and one that doesnt.

A 1961 Lincoln Continental Convertible thats bagged and outfitted with modern amenities like a stereo etc. The goal was to keep it original with the exception of the bags. Low and slow.

The other is a 1969 Z28 Camaro with a built 396, muncie and setup for runnin. I purchased the car recently from a nice fellow in Orange County and couldn't be happier. I run it hard and expect it to perform when I want it to and how I want it to. It spent the first month in the shop I was running it so hard. The car is setup Vintage Trans Am racing style but my eventual goal is a mix between tradition and performance. I drive the car far too hard not to update certain aspects. Currently its suspension and wheel/tire setup thats my focus. I'd like to track the car as much as possible.

The two together.

Goals for the camaro currently include a wheel and tire setup change. I'm looking to go with a multipiece 18" setup and some suspension mods to match the setup. The car currently sits entirely too low for the way I drive it. Then eventually some engine work or perhaps a new drivetrain completely.

Anyways thanks for havin me.

Rogue you finally started your own thread!!!
That 69 is very nice for sure!!!
What are the wheels and tires you have on it now? Size wise
Thanks and by all means continue to beat the H**L outta it. It looks like it is asking for it...

235/60/15 Goodyear Eagle #1 tires (which goodyear recently discontinued and replaced with white letter NASCAR ones )

American Racing AR-767 15x7 in the front 15x8 in the rear.

I've been eyeballing 18s from iforged, HRE, and Fikse wheels. I'm thinking a black and gold two tone scheme for the wheels.

A setup similar to this but black and gold.

Thanks man all those would be great choices and I think would really set that car off. On a side note check with Driverzinc and their wheels, They also have some in that style and have been great with info for me also.

Glad you made an intro. I saw those pics of that C6ZO6 yesterday on CorvetteForum. It's a striking setup, something that on paper doesn't sound good, but once you see it, it kicks ass.

I like that camaro the way it is. I'd upgrade the brakes and suspension but keep it looking the same
