Fesler Built 67 Blazer 4 month Build almost done
5 Attachment(s)
67 Blazer project ready to hit the roads, not just any blazer but a pro-touring style suspension with a roadster flare to it. Will be driven on a regular basis, I will post a ton of the build photos up here so you guys can see all the work we put into this one.
I wanted to build a 32-33 roadster for years and finally found the car last year. After talking with my guys and deciding that building another 32-33 roadster would not do it for me we decided to build something a little more off the wall.
I bought this 4X4 69 Blazer last year 3 months before SEMA and wanted to do something wild with it, so we started cutting and chopping things up. Kicker heard about what we were doing and wanted to get involved with it and use it as a show car for them. So we went into SEMA mode to get the thing started to show in their booth. Now there is no way we would have finished it since SEMA was less than a month away so we busted butt on it for 30 days to get it in the black stage you can see on our website. www.feslerbuilt.com
Well with just 4 months build time (that’s right 4 months) from start to almost finished including paint here is what we have. I still have to Dyno the engine, build door panels and build some engine covers before it is officially done but other than that it is ready to cruise and enjoy. I have geared up my shop to be one of the fastest builders on the west coast and don’t think because we do it fast we cut any corners. Now this was not done in 4 months straight, since this is a shop demo vehicle for us, so we spent 30 days before SEMA last year (showed it at SEMA 06) then brought it back to the shop and it sat until 90 days before SEMA 2007 at which time we finished everything else. I have a full shop to run with customer cars so we don’t have much time for shop stuff. So what you see in the pictures is what we got done for SEMA this year 07.
I figure most people are tired of waiting years for their builds from different shops around the country building their car. I know guys that have been working on a certain car for over 3 years and to me it just doesn’t make sense. Now if you are building a car for the huge awards well that makes sense but if you are building a car to drive and have fun with the faster you can start driving it the better.
Our average build time is less than one year on most projects and like I said before we don’t cut corners we do it right, don’t spend your money on other client’s projects and we have that little extra to get them done faster than most shops. If you are looking for a cool ride whether it be old or new, contact us and we can probably start your project within a month.
I will post the complete build of this up here so people can see the work, you can also check the magazines since we are getting ready to do the cover shots for it very soon. That’s right we also do all the photography on our cars as well. Email with any questions
