Shell weight
 

I was wondering how heavy a 68 camaro SHELL would be, and when I say shell I mean shell (everything is taken off the car that can be removed). How many guys would it take to pick the car completely up and move it (like on and off a trailer or off the trailer and on to jackstands in the garage?

anybody?

I would say 4 healthy guys should do it, and one to place the jack stands...:thumbsup:


a empty shell would be at least 5 to 600 pounds....If i had to guess.

only took 3 guys to put it on the rack (and they weren't very big guys)

It's a lot easier if you fabricate a cradle under/across the bottom of the body with 2x4's so that each person has something that sticks out, to grab onto. Recommend 4 people, one at each corner.
