Tires for Drivers!
I need to get a set of tires for my 68 Firebird, but I want to be sure I get the right set for my application. It would be cool to have a real sticky set with traction galore, but the truth is my car is going to be more of a weekend cruiser and not a full-fledged race car. I plan on zipping up and down the California coastline quite often, so something with wet/dry traction capabilities is a must. Any suggestions on which to consider and which to avoid? Thanks!

I read tires for Driverz and thought we should chime in. ;)
Bridgestone's are very nice for wet/dry traction, as well as the Michelin's. What size wheels are you needing tires for? |
18" Budniks. 8" front, 9" rear. I fell in love with the look of Nitto's 555 II series, but I don't think they have the year round traction I'm interested in.
