looks good but why was the dse upper shock mount not installed? looks like trunk is all painted and done?

I was wondering the same thing. I will bet he was thinking air bar or G-bar, they integrate the upper shock mount into the bar. Rich |

What was your plan for mounting rear shocks?

It's a crossmember mounted between the frame rails just below the trunk floor above and slightly behind the rear diff. It works perfectly and it doesn't intrude into the trunk floor.
This same style shock mount has been sold and used for first gens to eliminate the stagered shock set up with bigger tires.
