looks good but why was the dse upper shock mount not installed? looks like trunk is all painted and done?

Jake,

I was wondering the same thing. I will bet he was thinking air bar or G-bar, they integrate the upper shock mount into the bar.

What was your plan for mounting rear shocks?

Doug Cooper 12-29-2007 04:55 AM

It's a crossmember mounted between the frame rails just below the trunk floor above and slightly behind the rear diff. It works perfectly and it doesn't intrude into the trunk floor.
This same style shock mount has been sold and used for first gens to eliminate the stagered shock set up with bigger tires. All the aftermarket suspension companies offer a similiar setup it's nothing new, Jegs sells them
