2004 gto seats

Anyone mount these in a first or second gen camaro with the power motors still attached? I know I can get them to fit if I take the power motors out and probally with the motors but just seeing whats out there....

I know this doesn't exactly answer your question, but I have 06 seats in my '65 GTO with working power/lumbar. By the time you make brackets to keep the power tracks, height is definitely a problem. I've only got a few inches between the headliner and the headrest with the seat in the lowest position. It's comfortable for me, but I'm only 5'8". Pretty sure there is less headroom in a 2nd gen.

I'm pretty sure you're going to have trouble, probably more so with width than height. But I imagine you'll need to ditch the power tracks to get them in there, height-wise.

well right now with them sitting in the car , they fit both height and width wise...the height needs to be addressed...but they fit with clearance....

I used a pair of GTO seats in in a Camaro we built. We had to loose the power sliders and go with manual tracks (from Sparco, there universal tracks). It worked out really well with minor mods, the seats fit great...

The upholsterer of this car also lopped the headrest off to address the issue others are describing. We did not want to see a foot of seat above the windowline. Not cool!
