What size monitor ??
Redoing my blog and my website to be more up to date with the times.
What size monitors do you use and are they normal or widescreen ? What resolution do you normally run ? |
17" Sony, 1280x1024

I like the new 20" widescreen monitors that you can split into duel monitors.
I have two 18" monitors at work, and honestly I do not think I can ever go back to using a single monitor, the increase in productivity is huge!! I would use 4 if they would let me. So thats what I say to save money on buying multiple, go with a widescreen that has a split-screen option. Tim |
22" widescreen dual setup. Works great
|
I've built a few websites with dynamic tables, but I try to stay away from that because of the broad range of resolutions that are now on the market. It's getting pretty common to see 22" wide screen monitors running at 1600x1050, but on the flip side, smaller notebooks like the MacBook have a 13" screen running 1280x800.
I usually keep to a static table width of 900px that way you know it will work with 99.999% of the users and you know exactly how it's displaying on their monitors. For reference, Nascar.com is 1000px, Yahoo is 950px, USAToday.com is 940px, etc. |
Dual 24" DELL 2407WFP Widescreen's at 1920x1200.
Split screen is nice but picture in picture capability and HD compatibility are the newer direction in FPT. |
22" Widescreen ViewSonic
1600 x 1050.. higher when playing games ;) |
26" Dell, 16:10 widescreen, 1920x1200 native resolution.
