Would You....
Buy this and cut it up to make it how you want it? Since it is original.

hard to say but, I would Say make it a bolt on mobile. not cut into it to much.
Put a nice subframe under it, big block, wheels, etc. Things that you can easily undo. |
Well lets face it it is a straight 6, anything you added (tastefully) would add value.
I agree bolt on would be the way to go. I would run a nice 17X7 or 8" wheel in the back and put a crate sbc maybe even leave the 'glide. |
I'd chop it up!
|
Chop it up. Its only a 6 cyl. You couldnt ask for a nicer car to work with. If it was an SS, Z28, Big block, I would say keep original.
|
It would be a good car to do in a style like Doug Coppers new/old 55...but without the full frame boogie.
|
Yep, I'd cut it up. There's nothing special about that car other than it being a survivor. It's the perfect victim. :D
|
Chop-chop!
I have the same car other than no bumble-bee stripe and 91,000 miles and all I can think about is cutting this thing up. Its the perfect car. I've been ofered $20,000K for mine and have turned it downed, who ever gets that car they will be saving themself a large chunck of change in body work. Travis

If it was BB car or a SS or a Z/28 no I wouldn't its a worthless 6 banger. I would hot rod it
|
just cuz its a 6 doesnt mean that you should cut it but if you do just make to drive and your o.k. i look at it like if you cut it to drive and use it its o.k if you cut it to look good and not drive just leave it.
