69 camaro gas tank
 

Nebie here so be gentle.Guy's bought a 69 camaro project with a LT1 in it (will post pics later)and I was working on the fuel system,pulled the tank out and drained it,I found a lot of rust and trash in the tank,was wondering if there was some thing I could but in the tank like to coat it from the corrison that is in it now are just by a new tank.THANKS!Oh by the way this is a great website.THANKS AGAIN!

I had this happen to me and my suggestion is to just buy a new tank. You can get one for around $125.00 then you have nothing to worry about. Good luck.
