G-Bar suspension with Moser M9 housing

Well it took some time and a lot of phone calls, but I've finally decided what rear suspension is going into the 68 Acadian. I was originally going to go with leaf spring/ladder bar set up but was quickly told that was not the way to go. I was then looking an AME rear clip set up, but don't want to cut my entire trunk out. I wanted something easy to go with. After many phone calls to Frank at http://www.prodigycustoms.com/ I have ordered an Alston G-Bar set up with QA1 shocks instead of the Varishocks as I already have QA1's in the front and want to keep them all the same. I also have coming a Moser M9 housing with back brace and Moser 31 spline axles. And I have some money left over to buy new rear wheelhouses. In the front I already have Speed Tech upper and lower control arms with the QA1 coil overs. In between will be a 427 sbc 500+ hp and a TKO 600 with 18" Foose Nitrous II's on each corner. :unibrow:

I highly recommend giving Frank a call. He was very patient with my million phone calls and questions and made a number of calls on my behalf. Thanks again for everything Frank.

Thanks.

How much did the rear housing and axles cost if you dont mind me asking?

Sorry no updates yet. I'm still waiting for the stuff. I have a number of things coming so am waiting until I everything has been shipped before I go and pick it all up. It's being shipped about 3 hours from me on the US side, so I try and make a trip out of it. Unfortunately, once I get it, it won't be installed for a couple months. Am waiting for it to warm up enough to push the rotisserie outside and undercoat it. Once that is done, I will post pics.

As for what I paid....I believe it was between $1200 and $1300 for m9, end housing of my choice, lower brackets welded on, back brace welded on, axles with bearing pressed on. Includes shipping.

Looks like the stuff will be coming in to you next week, so send us pictures.
