Pantera EFI
I read about the Panteria EFI system in a recent Super Chevy and thought it sounded pretty interesting. I went to the web site and it was a little sketchy. Does anyone have any experience with this system? Any idea of cost? Thanks.

I don't know anything about it.... do you have a link?
|
No, I just did a google search and linked to their website from that. They have a cool 8 stack system and it sounds like it's a sequential setup with individual cylinder tuneability. From the google search, it looks like they have expanded from the snowmobile 2 cycle engine market to hot rodding.

I spelled it incorrectly in my first note, it's Pantera, like the car.

I,m using that on my LS-7. I never played with it my self yet. Wegners clams it easy to learn and its better than whats out their. ??

Good luck, it sounded pretty good from the article. I'm getting ready to do my 1961 Bel Air and am considering an LS-7. Where did you get yours? Are you happy with it?

I got a whole engine package from Wagners motorsports. I bought my LS-7 from them it pulled 711hp* and Pantera EFI came with it .We dyno it with the system and it seemed very good and easy to run and set up.Looking play with the system on the chassis dyno more in the spring.

Wegner built my engine too, and we used the Pantera system for all the dyno testing. The thing snapped into place, used all GM sensors (and connectors), and fired the motor immediately. I was so impressed with the system that I tried to contact "Lance" the guy behind the system. For whatever reason I couldn't reach the guy. I ended up with a FAST setup instead.
