Garage Flooring?
I just recently purchased a home and I would like to have the garage floor epoxied. I was wondering if you guys had any advice or any product recommendations before I got started. If possible could you also post pictures of your garage/shop floor? Thanks in advance

I went with a professional Expoy coated floor. Spent the money to have someone come out and prep it and do the entire job.
Very happy http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album..._10_08_004.jpg |
How much for what size? Floor looks great!
Thanks, Bruce |

30 x 30. Used the Rustoleum Garage Floor kit (gray) without the sprinkles. It was a new (3 yrs old) untreated floor with no grease or oil stains. Acid etched and let it dry for 3 days. I put a plastic floor mat on the floor and checked it every day. Once the moisture under it was gone - I painted. Mine is currently one coat - and once I get my project done - I plan to do another. Most recommend 2 coats to start with.
Marty, That does look awesome man ! Did you get the plasma hung up ? Also, check either this forum - or the General forum. There was another thread with pics and product details for this topic. Jim |

I'm worried about doing the epoxy deal since my garage floor was poured back in 1962...
I still haven't decided what to do. |

ps - I wouldn't worry about your floor it's probably better then anything pored today. |
I bought a two part epoxy kit and did it myself. Days worth of prep was the hardest part, cleaning and recleaning of old oil spills and such. Then a chemical etching. It looks great and seem really durable.
Here is the brand: http://www.ippnet.com/EN/main/produc...5537/1153.html |
