convertible snaps
 

My 68 Shelby (sort of PT-has 16 inch wheels, lowered a bit and supercharger)is missing some snaps to hold the convertible boot down-the ones that go on the interior. Literally 3 are missing. Searching through some catalogs and see the items are $ 6.00. But the "machine tool" to put them on is over $ 100.00. Seems stupid.

Is there a way to get those snaps on without such a special tool ?
