I also like the way they did the disc brakes on the front wheels. I have seen some custom harley's that run them like that. |
buell bikes are the same, they are called radial brakes

Is it me, or do those tires mess up the total picture.... Besides that, really cool car!
|
I like it from a "looks" standpoint! Those brakes are dangerous... as a cruiser and show car it is fine, but you would cook them pretty quickly if you ever actually got after the car a bit... unless it only weighs what two Buells weigh which I highly doubt. Still, neat looking - thanks for posting! (My buddy is a big-time Volvo guy so I will let him know :unibrow: )

I appreciate the elegance of its design, but it's almost too simple. Still cool though.
And yes those brakes look like they will fold like paper! |

I like the look of the car. I (as you all have said) have to wonder about the durability of those brakes in this application, but they do look cool.

I think it looks cool.

i think it looks absolutely awesome... the fromn tires are alittle wide but the look is just awesome... i hope to see the car first hand at the ESRA nats this year, where with any luck me and the 32 should attend... i doubt the brakes will be a problem... with a carbon fibre chassis and aluminum body that thing should weigh no more than 900 kg.. with a 70/30 weight bias at braking the front wheels should stop no more than 315 kg´s each... which is the same as a buell with a 80kg driver... and besides the kinetic energy is alittle less at the speeds youd expect this car to go.. a buel is made to do back to back 150-0 mph stops all day and not fade.... and the cooling should be fenomenal with no fenders and a 14.7'' diameter brake...
