1963 Impala 2 Door Wagon

This is my brothers project...been a little about it over on Protouring.com, but decided to throw it up on here as well for feed back...

He had Carter Hickman do a rendering...before he decided to make the 4 door into a two door..:wow:

There's a shot of how it looked before the carving started...

Then a shot of the top chopped down...

Then a shot of how the two door looks inprogess...

Outline:

1963 2 Door Impala Wagon w/ Twin Turbo's. Has a full air ride suspension with a super c-notch and custom body drop. 4 wheel power disk brakes riding on 22x10 and 20x9 Billet Specialities wheels. Body mods consist of 3 1/2" chopped roof, suicide two door conversion, shaved drip rails, doors handles, side mouldings, and all chrome trim. Shortened front and rear bumpers. A reverse power flip hood and power tailgate.

Sweet project..... but tell your brother he needs to either shorten the car or get a bigger garage :unibrow: (thats tight)
Looks like it will be very cool when finished !

Tell me about it...we originally started out with a 3000sq ft bay...then went to a 5K bay...now were cramped into a 1200sq fter...

No room for my toys!

I hear you. We tried moving into a bigger shop but we are part-timers. So its hard to pay the rent. We are currently in the same size as you (1200) and we're looking into merging with a machinest (that will produce some marketable billet pieces for us) and are in search of a larger building to house both of us. The larger the car, the less equipment we have to work with !

Very cool project and looks like he and Carter laid out a great plan! I wonder how it would look if the B pillar was leaned forward like the back. It's definitely more work with sheet metal and glass but..... Just my $.02:thumbsup:
