Want to go to SEMA
Hey Guys,
I want to go to the SEMA show this year but I heard your job has to be in the automotive industry, is this true? Is it hard to get tickets? I went on the SEMA websight and put in my email in to be alerted when i can registar but haven't seen anything yet. When do they usually open up for registration? Any help much appreciated. Thanks, Scott aka Vicious69 |
Yeah you have to be a member or buisness to attend the show, they dont even start to think about it for months and when they do if you are not a member they may not email you anything. If you really want to go and cant get a pass let me know and you can pay for one through my company so you can get in.

Hmmm...I've already got my registration paid for for this year. I got an email about a week and a half ago?
I figure that if "work" gets in the way this year (good possibility)...then I'm only out 15 bucks...and I can give the badge to someone that can use it! |

Yes if you have gone before you get automatic invite again but if you have not gone or dont meet the criteria they wont invite you.

Registration is open now

Thanks Chris for the offer I may take you up on that. There would be 3 of us total to go, is that ok? How much would the registration be?

Yeah I thought that it is open to the public now. I'm pretty sure they changed it last year.

Cut and past from the site -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The SEMA Show and AAPEX are trade-only events and only qualified members of the automotive aftermarket are permitted to attend. The following categories do not qualify to attend: * Accounting Firms * Consumers * Freight Providers * Graphics companies non-automotive * Installation/Dismantle Companies * Insurance * Law Firms * Modeling agent/agencies * Packaging * Printers * Software companies non-automotive specific * Travel Agencies * Any non-automotive company |
I'm surprised. It seems like a lot of shops suddenly find themselves with a bunch more "employees" right before SEMA anyways. So why don't they just open it up?
