Hi April Here Check Out My 1991 Z28!

What do you guys think? Where should I go from here? This is my garage queen a 1991 Z28! You should hear how mean she sounds with a 3" exhaust cutout and SLP headers.

Well hello, April! :D Welcome. Nice Camaro!

I'd look to hotchkis for some larger diameter sway bars, subframe connectors and stiffer springs to start with, then move on to the brakes. Baer has a few packages that would be a huge upgrade from stock for you.

My first choice for engine mods would be to swap in a 350 and do the typical mods. Headers, intake/throttle body, then move on to a cam swap and higher flowing heads.

If you're limited to keeping the 305, the same mods apply, but don't expect huge power gains.

Welcome April!

Nice car! It always makes me happy to see a well-kept 3rd gen F-body. Too many used and abused ones out there!

Squeezing more hp out of a 305 might be tough. I had one in my 84 El Camino and lovingly referred to it as my "boat anchor." A 350 swap isn't too tough to do and keep legal (if there are strict emissions laws where you live) and runs about $3500 or less. Once there's a 350 in between the fenders, you have a much broader spectrum of parts to choose from. That's just my 2 cents though. The car looks great as it is!

HELL YA!!! A girl with some great taste! Welcome April. '91 Z/28 had the 350 as an option so she could already have it and not need to do that. Those wheels look like Bonspeeds. Very nice. I wish I had my '90 IROC back everytime I see a real nice third gen. I would agree suspension and brakes would be the next thing I would do. What do you have in mind? :morepower is always good too.

April here? I thought it was July.

Sorry. :_paranoid

Great looking car, April. I love 3rd gens, especially with that wing on the back. There's an interesting story behind that wing and how it ended up on those cars. The man responsible for it was Chuck Jordan who at the time was GM's Vice President of Design. I work for Design Center here in Michigan and had the chance to strike up a conversation with him shortly before he retired in 1991. He told me the inspiration for the wing on the Camaro came from the Ferrari F40. In addition to being head of Design Center he was also a weathy car collector and owned a stable of Ferrari's, including an F40.

Anyway...thought that might interest you.

Welcome to the site.

Didn't know that, Tony. That's pretty cool.

Just looked at your website! WOW! You did not mention all the other cool stuff it already has! Looks like all your missing now is more power! All of the pics are very nice.

Hey guys \thanks! This is the best forum I have ever been to! Probably the hottest cars ever seen in my life!

I look forward to chatting with a few of you!

The wheels are custom fit BOZE Stixx 20X8.5 Rear and a 19x8. Front

Tires are Nitto555 275/30/20 Rear, and 245/35/19 Front.

I also have an AutoPower bolt in roll bar. Lots of big plans for it as the money comes. She basically sits in the gargage and gets driven two three times a month.

Thanx to each of you! April...
