Best ONE place to buy restoration parts
What is the consensus here? I know that Year One will give you a discount for purchasing parts in bulk but what about any others? I don’t just car about price, but overall package. Quality, customer service, price, delivery time, …

I've had nothing but good service and parts from Rick's so that's pretty much where I buy most of my restoration type parts.

I also use Ricks.

I use a local guy. He usually gets me better prices then the catalog, and I never have to pay shipping, or tax, . So check that out first.
Not sure why anyone uses Year One. On the parts I have ordered, I could always find it cheaper elsewhere then Year One. |
Check out ss396.com . you talk to hands on guys

What kind of car do you own. For my Chevelle I use Ground Up mostly, and for the Corvette I use Ecklers.

I also use a local GM resto parts shop, I've spent sooo much I get a pretty sizable discount and free shipping on most parts...it works for me!!

It is a camaro (first gen)

For my 69 Camaro I use Classic Industries.
So far for my girlfriends 67 Mustang I have been using National Parts Depot. The next time I order parts for my Camaro I am going to try NPD since it should at least save me money on shipping. |
Restoration parts-Rick's First Generation. They just don't carry as many performance-related parts.
