Hi, I was just curious as to what you would have to have for the wheels, that are on the car, when you're ready to dell them, [email protected]

I am not sure as it will be a little while.

I messed with the bell housing Today for the Tremec TKO. This tool is from Browell bell Housings. I ran into a snag as the collar is to thick for my flywheel bolts. It was a real snug on the crank so I tried it anyway. I had them machine the collar at 4.6825" as the Bell I.D. is 4.6875". This will give me the .005 diff and should work as a go/no go indicator. As you can see it fit on but I suspect that there is a chance that without it fastened it possibly could move. I will get longer bolts and try on another day.

69 Chevelle Project with LS3

I thought I would start a project thread on my car. It is nothing over the top like some of the killer cars here, but rather something that I am building with out credit card debt or a 2nd mortgage and within in my means :) . And I will say this board has motivated me in many ways. In addition caused me to redo many parts that I did not research before buying. Here is a pic of the POS when I bought it.

Body was media blasted and is very slowly being worked on.

The frame is starting to take shape..if I had to do it over I would have saved and went with the AME frame, but for now I just trying to focus on getting it together with what I have.

I am using a Currie 9" 31 Spline rear with 3.50 rear gear. Rear control arms are also Currie with johnny joints. Rear brakes are Baer GT Plus 13" two piece rotors. Front brakes are Kore3 C6 calipers also with Baer two piece rotors. Spindles and steering arms are ATS. Lee Steering box, SPC upper and lower control arms, Varishock Coil overs in front.

The tire and wheel choice were also bought early last year before hanging around this place findin out what was cool. When this thing fires up and drives down the street I will likely order a set of Forgelines that day. For now there is still many things to procure. And also these will be for sale:) . Currently they are 18 x10 (6"BS)
295/45/18 and 17 x 8 (4.75"BS) w/255/45/17.

The engine is a LS3 with L76 intake. I got the engine late last year from gmcopo. It is basically a service/warranty 08 LS3 long block. I plan to run Vette acc. drive for now. I will install a Vintage air in the car for later. I am using ATS LSX pan and mounts. Headers are Edelbrock 1-3/4" stepped to
1-7/8". Harness will be Speartech with DBW and John suggested I use an LS2 MAF. Radiator Ron Davis and was a little more than twice what I paid for this whole POS car:lol:

We used UPOL Raptor bed liner for under the car. It laid down pretty good.
