Lowered Mustang

Brian,
Hope this helps. In the first image, the back is just lowered. The second image, I lowered the front a little. I also did a little adjustment to make the image a little sharper. Good luck with your project. Derek |
That looks awesome. thanks for your help

just curious what size those wheels are
|
The wheels are TSW catalunya 18x8 with 20mm offset (5.287bs) with a 5/16 inch spacer and 18x9 with 20mm offset (5.75 bs). Tires are 235/40/18 fronts and 265/35/18 rears. I'm in the process of putting on longer wheel studs to accomodate the thicker mounting pad on the front whee.

The rear is stock height with a 4.5 standard eye leaf and 3/4 in. sway bar. On the front I have 620lb springs that lowered the front an inch with a 1 in. sway bar. All from Grab-a-Trak. There is no rubbing issue with the rear. Infact I could almost go with 6" bs and 9.5" wide wheel. The front clears the upper ball joint by about 1/8th of an inch. Some of the elanore knock offs are around a 4.75" bs. on the front. hope this helps

with 16s or 17s I would definately try 4.75. The bs on my front wheels are at 4.97" with a 8in wheel and I had to go 18s with the bs so that the outer lip would clear the upper ball joint. My wheels do fit inside the fenders and the 7" w/4.75bs would definately stay in the fenders as well. If you need anything else you can pm me and I can pass on things as I figure them out.
