brakes & braking

Hi, have any of you guys tried a series of timed tests to see how much improved the brakes are on your cars with the bigger brakes fitted, you know 30-0, 60-0 & 100+-0. I noticed on one of the other threads about the 0-100-0 tests on the Ultima & I wondered how the bigger brakes compared with stock items. Another reason for asking is that a friend of mine races a '69 mustang but is governed by the rules to using stock 2 pot calipers & standard dia discs, but he has competiton linings front & rear (drums on the rear) & that car has phenomenal stopping power over stock, just curious as I've never seen any tests carried out. ;)
