Wheel spacer/adapter questions

Howdy,

I am new to the forum and this is my first post, so be gentle with me. I have a 67 Camaro I have been chipping away at for some time, and I have been wrestling with wheel choices. This is something I want to get sorted before I start playing with stance. 17 is the diameter of choice, and my favorite wheel is the Volk TE-37. I know this sounds ricey, but I feel strongly about this one. Apart custom ordering them from Japan ( costly and well, costly ), OEM wheel company Rota makes an excelent low cost alternative, but only in 5x100 and 5x114.3. My question is, could hub centric adapters be made to change the bolt spacing as well as the offset? and is this smart? or should I abandon this idea and get some proper american car wheels? I havent done any actual math yet.

Thanks

If you really like the wheel then go for it. The guys from the link above can build it but measure correctly cause what you ask for is what you get.

Ask and you shall receive. The Motorsport Tech site was just what I was looking for. What would we do without "The Google" and "The Internets". Thanks again.

We can make you the adapters too, so just let us know.

Also, you might re-consider the adapter idea for a wheel that is built correct for your application. I've never really been a big fan of putting an adapter behind a wheel, as it makes the hub area look too thick, and long. But it's completely up to you.
