That looks pretty damn good - especially for AutoCAD.

I like those early Novas!

Was Auto Cad Hard to Work with or Learn?

What Computer platform are you using?

Thanks,

Ty

BTW: I think it looks really nice.

Auto CAD isn’t bad at all at least for doing two dimensional drawings. I have not had much experience in doing 3D in Auto CAD but I know it is pretty tough as compared to other products on the market. I like solid works better for 3D but I don’t have that on my computer.

I wish I could draw free hand to do a full 3D rendering of the car... but i can't draw worth crap. I shall try and work one up on CAD

That's awesome!!!
I've been using AutoCAD for going on 10 years & I've never even tried to do something like that. I tried designing some cool wheels but, never drawn an car. I work in the Civil design so we don't get into much 3D modeling.

I'd like to know how you got the shape of the car so accurate. Did you start with an image & just trace over it? Please fill me in; I’d like to try it.

Thanks, Chris

I did not trace this one. I just looked at images and spent many hours fine tuning to get it to look just right. I got most of my dimensions off of novaresource.org. I have worked on this drawing off and on for the past two years fooling around with different wheels and paint schemes until I got it just right. However, I would recommend tracing it. It would have saved me a lot of headaches:goofy:

I am tracing the front view.... too much detail:faint:
