Headliner question
 
can a new headliner be installed in a 68 camaro with the glass installed??maybe a dumb question but i have no idea:)

It would be tough to say the least but it is possible. You might want to check and see how much it would be to get it installed locally. Might be worth not having the agravation. I installed mine with the glass out and it was tough enough like that.

If you have the original style window seal. I would just say pull your glass and do the headliner. It isn't all that hard (IMO) to put the glass back in after. My local glass company stocks the seal kits for my Camaro. I think you would be much happier with the results that way.

Yes it can,we have done it several times,never had a problem.There is a strip that the headliner gets glued to that the plastic trim covers when installed.Always start your install in the center and work your way out to the sides.

But isnt the camaro ( 1gen ) windshield glued on the body ? So why there is a need to take it off ?
