Heading to South Carolina Next Week

So I'm heading down to Charlotte next weekend for the All-Star race then we're going to hang out in and around Charleston the week after. Any must see's or must do's while we're down there? Anything going on? Anyone around?

Thanks

Plenty to do in Charleston, walking, eating, take a horse and buggy tour, more eating.....one of my favorite cities to hang out. Take the bridge over Cooper River to Mt Pleasant too. You could stop in at the visitor center for info. While in Charlotte, you can visit Detroit Speed (about 20 minutes from Lowes motor speedway), although Kyle & Stacy will be at the YOE on the Allstar weekend.

I live in Charlotte and I will be

heading down to the Year One show. It is about 3 hours from Charlotte. Anyway, I usually go to the All-Star race and it is a blast. You will have a good time. Almost all of the race teams are located within 15 to 20 minutes of the track and I know they do tours.

I hate that I will not be here to meet you in person. Maybe next year.

Where are your seats?

I had the pleasure of spending a week in Charleston a couple of years ago with work and really enjoyed the city and the area. I hear you about the eating. Heck, I scheduled an overnight in Columbia just to hit this awesome oyster bar that I found last time I was through...

Damn that's too bad Payton, but I kind of figured that everyone would be at year one. I could try to scoot there on Sunday but we'll see.

We're sitting in the new veranda section near the end of the pit road. We're going to try to hit a couple of shops on Monday then make our way south to Columbia.

I will be home about mid day Sunday

but Hunter has a make up ball game at 2:30. I should be home after 5:00. For you to go to Columbia you will pass very close to my office which is off I-485 and I will be in there monday morning about 8:00.

My cell is 704-564-8577 if you want to try and get together late Sunday or Monday.

To me, the seats close to the end of pit road are the best! You are in for a treat. 80% of the crashes are in turn 2 so you will be close to the action.
