427 Cobra

When I was a young man I had a dream of some day owning a Cobra. Raising kids and making a living made it impossible to fulfill my dream. Now that I am retired and the kids are gone I decided to fulfill my dream. One of the problems is that I am very picky and like to build or buy things that are as close to perfection as is possible.

After looking at many vehicles and kits I found and bought the vehicle you will be looking at. This vehicle is a factory built car carrying serial #1004. The vehicle was built for the original owner by Cutting Edge Performance of Manteca, CA. I am the second owner. The original build was in 2004 and the vehicle has (as of this writing) less than 2000 miles on it. I think that you will conclude that this is a magnificent vehicle. It does it all – outrageous acceleration, handling and jaw dropping visual beauty.

The vehicle is shown in the Cutting Edge sales brochure. Also, Kit Car magazine did a feature article on it in the May 2006 issue entitled “A Cut Above” and referred to it as the “Silver Ghost”. The vehicle is also pictured in the 2007 Kit Car Calendar for the month of November.

You might ask why would anyone want to sell such a prize? While I crossed off owning a Cobra from my “bucket list”, the need to get back to my roots is over powering. There is nothing to do to this car! I’ve been building small block Chevy’s and hot rods for 45-years. I have just got to start a new build to keep busy and challenged.

I've seen the car in person... it's NICE.

Cutting Edge does all sorts of cool billet stuff, door hinges, suspension, etc.

Thanks Troy for the nice words on my dad's car. It is killer and the thing flat RIPS. From a roll it would smash my camaro that runs 11.8's.

He is not sure what he gonna do next. Some type of fun car that costs alot less. This thing is so nice I think he is nervous to take it out!

As far as price.....I think he is pretty firm but you would need to car him and get more info. It has the SB100 number and its well worth the asking price.
