Double glass?

I was one of the early customers on the Marquez Billet stuff and have a question about the rear light glasses. I got the custom design with clear glass. Now I have seen that durt or dust has creeped up in the glass. I have also seen when I wash the car that there is mist in the glass.

I believe that the clear glass is doubled, one outer clear glass and one sheet of structured glass. To me it seems like moisture has gone in there between the sheets.

I guess it is not so difficult to remove the silicone that holds the glass to the billetframe and clean this up.

Just want some confirmation on my suspicions before I take it appart.

Pasqual??

they are two pieces. Generally red with a clear piece behind with the prism cuts in it. They did do a couple of clear ones for overseas, but they are two pieces siliconed in.

Let us know how it comes apart. I have been thinking of clear anodizing mine for easier maintenance.

I took mine apart easily using an X-acto knife. (to paint my bezels black). It took all of 15 minuts for both with most of that time picking off bits of silicone.

Lenses

The lenses are a two part set up that is put in place with a clear epoxy silicone. The tailights with back up light s are 4 parts. I sent you a private message also. Thanks Jody Steve the info is correct.
