Custom built air tanks?

Hey guys! I was hoping to build my own custom air tanks for my air ride suspension but i can't find the end caps that would go on the 5",6", or 7" round tubing to make up the air tank. Not sure what size air tank yet i want because it kind of depends on the end caps and available sizes. Does anyone know where i might be able to look? Thanks

Be careful on this one Josh. You are now talking about building pressure vessels. I know we are not dealing with extreme pressures, never the less they are pressure vessels. You may have a hard time getting someone to supply you with those. I worked with a company that built the contrator compressors for Dewalt and Emglo. They did an extreme amount of testing and certification. They also built the caps themselves. I'm not saying you can't, but it might be easier in this case to again find existing tanks and cut them up to modify them. I am willing to try just about anything, but the Engineer in me would not allow me to do this one. I would buy something close and package it so that I would not have to modify the tank. JMO. Maybe someone else will chime in as well.
