Need information regarding good Mirrors
To All:
The mirrors I have in my car are terrible at best, therefore, I am wanting to buy the best mirrors possible for my 1969 Camaro. I am looking for both a rear view and two side mirrors. I don't want them to rattle or scratch easily. I have seen the brands: Talbot Longacre SPA I'm sure there are several others I have overlooked, however, please tell me what you use and why. What is the best Bang for the Buck. I wouldn't mind a Vintage look, or a really cool F1 look. First and foremost I want them to work no matter what the cost. You can't avoid what you can't see. Thanks, Ty O'Neal |
I buddy of mine used Audi TT mirrors (not sure on the year) I think they look better than the vette mirrors guys are using, similiar post mount but the mirror surround does not extend out as far and is slightly smaller in dia.

check them out: http://www.alphamirrordirect.com/ https://axelnet.net/securehost/alpha...illet_prod.jpg That isnt the only design but its the only image I could grab off the website. They list for $199 ...got a 'best of ' award at SEMA last year for product idea.... they also sell a rear view mirror and a clip on one too. Worth every penny in my book Ill offer them up if anyone is interested for $179 . Save yourself $20. |
