Help Identifing Roll Cage

Ive spotted this roll cage in Chevy High Performance, and on 2 cars on Air Ride Techs web site. It appears on the 68' Velocity Camaro, and on the Good Guys 70' Super Nova. The only info i found is its called the "Tiger Cage" and in CHP it says Rodney Mason built it, but i cant find anything else. I need more info please, i want that cage.

thx for any info,
Charles

If I am not mistaken Air-Ride built it theirselves when they built their cars but when I talked to them in Nashville they thought they were going to produce them for the public, and it wouldnt be too long before they were available.

thatnks for the info buck69.
i really hope they start producing them soon cuz they are amazing looking.

the last time i checked thats an 8 point cage unless im am completly wrong. its hard to see in the pics provided but their is a cross bar behind the seat (its just real low) and there are bars going into the trunk to tie into the rear of the frame. it may not be the traditional style of 8 point cage, but when it comes to the added strengh of a roll cage in a camaro or nova i think that cage helps quite a bit. and since my car is going to be a daily driver. i dont wana have to monkey around every morning to get into my car. and that cage helps retain the rear seat accessibility.

no, theres no rear frame ties, a-pillar bars, roof halo, dash bar, or "true" door bars. far from being a cage.

so this would be considered a roll bar then. there are rear frame ties they are hard to see in the pics. they are visible in the magazine pics.

and thank you for the information and correcting me.
